The Future Is Intersectional T-Shirt
I created this shirt in
the midst of the 2016 presidential election in order to emphasize the necessity
of embracing intersectionality - a framework for analyzing race, gender, and
class coined by legal scholar Kimberle Crenshaw. As a writer and
service oriented citizen, my work is informed by theories of intersectional
feminism(s). This shirt is the first of its kind and was made with the intent
to call for holistic and inclusive approaches to social justice.
