Development tip #17: Pursue education

 

I’m a firefighter/paramedic who treats over 1,000 patients annually. The following is adevelopment tip one of my patients wanted to share with you.

Here’s what the son of sharecroppers and the grandson of slaves told me:

“Stay in school as long as you can. This is your time. Education will make you who you are.

And if school isn’t in your story book or your path, you need to find a way to keep learning...

Believe that you can do better. Look forward to being a better person in life.”
